Grand Valley River Cleanup
The Gear Junction sponsors and organizes the bi-annual Grand Valley River Cleanup. Twice a year, we bring our muscles, gloves, and trash bags out to the Colorado River for a paddle session with purpose, to remove trash from the local waterway.
These efforts lead to a better, safer experience for water recreation. We'd love to see you out there!
Grand Mesa Nordic Council
The Grand Mesa Nordic Council (GMNC) maintains the Nordic trails on the Grand Mesa, grooming the way for all of us to enjoy cross-country skiing throughout the winter season. The Western Slope is incredibly fortunate to have such a stellar organization taking care of our local Nordic trails.
